Rotational Moulding offers many advantages over other moulding methods.
| Design flexibility, a wide variety of intricate shapes and can be easily manufactured. The process produces articles that are relatively stress free. Economical tooling costs. Variety of finishes and colour. Economical for short production runs and prototype research, as well as low volume production. Doubled wall mouldings can be produced if required. One piece, seamless mouldings are produced. Metal inserts as integral parts. Excellent load-bearing properties. Corrosion resistant. |

Rotational moulding has unlimited potential. Products manufactured from this method are lighter, generally stronger, and safer and more durable than metals.
The principal of rotational moulding is relatively easy. Plastic powder is placed in a hollow shell-like metal mould. The mould is then rotated simultaneously by two axes and heated so that the plastic powder melts and distributes itself over the inside surface of the mould.
At this stage the mould continues to rotate in a cooled environment so that the plastic solidifies to the shape of the mould.
