Sturdy Products Ltd Sister Company Working With Sainsbury’s to Enhance Forecourt and Shop Front Retail Offerings
As reported in the major industry publication Fourcourt Trader, Sturdy Products UK Ltd recently completed a supply contract with Sainsbury’s, one of the leading companies in the forecourt and convenience retail industry in the UK.
Sainsbury’s have chosen to use the Sturdy Tidystore Low Profile storage and display unit to help uplift forecourt and shop front retail opportunities in select Sainsbury’s stores across the country. This partnership will enable Sainsbury’s to enhance their range of available product offerings for their forecourt and shopfronts, while capturing key retail impulse sales.
Enhancing Forecourt Retail Sales
According to the 2020 Forecourt Retail Sector report published by KPMG, only 19% of forecourt shoppers in the United Kingdom and Ireland list fuel as the main reason for visiting a forecourt. With the Tidystore Low Profile, Sainsbury’s can effectively react to this shift in consumer preferences with a convenient, attractive, and secure retail display solution.

The new Tidystore Low Profile is the latest addition to the Tidystore Range of retail display solutions for forecourt and shop fronts. Utilising the tried and trusted Sturdy Tidystore design, the Tidystore Low Profile offers a large storage capacity of 1.3 meters cubed combined with its low profile height of just 1 meter, allowing seamless integration with existing store frontage signage and branding.

The Sturdy Tidystore range from Sturdy Products UK Ltd is suitable for standalone display or can integrate seamlessly with existing installations of Tidystore units for a neat and tidy display solution for the forecourt or shopfront. The units are available in a range of colours and branding to suit all forecourt configurations and can be further personalised with stainless steel signage panels as well as optional shutter door and end panel branding. Additional shelving options allow retailers to maximise the range of products available to customers.
Built For Durability
The Sturdy Tidystore range is a robust product designed to stand up to exposed weather conditions on the forecourt. The rotational moulding process produces a tough single-piece plastic body with superior strength and rigidity when compared to other products. Unlike similar products on the market with treated metal construction, the Sturdy Tidystore is low maintenance, it will not fade, rust, or require painting. The units are made from a UV stabilized material giving it a greater life span, and the units are further reinforced with an internal galvanised steel frame. The insulated aluminium roller shutter door comes as standard in the Sturdy Tidystore range and provides a secure and lockable solution for after-hours storage.
